Burnley Community Sports Awards organised by Burnley Leisure for sports people from all sports and walks of life.
It was held at Burnley Mechanics on Thursday 9th July hosted by Tessa Sanderson Olympian who has competed in 6 Olympic games a record of its own.
Allan was nominated without his knowledge by Paul Marsden,.
He was put forward for Sports Coach of the Year award. After they looked at all he had done over many years he was given the special award for Life Time Achievement Award, this was sponsored by UCFB they award University Degrees in Football, Sport and Leisure Industries, one UCFB is in Burnley the other at Wembley these are a Worlds first for such things.
Later in the year he will be going to the Lancashire Sports awards.
