Winning methods
1. Tap or verbally submit to joint lock or strangle hold.
2. Technical victory by 12 clear point’s difference.
3. Judge decision, based on majority of points. In case of equal score, the winner will be determined by the following factors:
a) Player with less cautions wins.
b) Player who scored big points wins.
4. In case the score is still equal, two extensions of 3 minutes are allowed.
a) In the two extensions, wins the player who scored 2 or more points first.
b) If the match finishes without a clear winner, the referees can vote to declare a winner, based on his performance (active gameplay, willingness to finish the match, submission attempts).
Points awarded:
1) Standing:
1 point for throws, landing the opponent on his front side (elbows and knees) or on his buttocks.
2 points for throws, landing the opponent on his side.
4 points for throws, landing the opponent on his back, or throwing the opponent above the waist height.
2) Positioning:
1 point for back mount (two hooks in).
1 point for mount position, if not used as a pin.
3) Pins:
Pins are counted after the confirmation of 2 of the 3 referees.
As pins are counted the positions when the top player has control over the immobilization, applied from side control or north- west position.
1 point awarded for 10 seconds or more.
3 points awarded for 20 seconds or more.
4 points awarded for 30 seconds.
Pin points are awarded only once for the duration for 1 match.
If the pin is applied in the end of the match time, the immobilisation will be allowed for the full length, even if exceeding the duration of the match.
Breaking up, inactivity and cautions:
If the two players are not active on the ground, the referee will break them up and the action will be restarted from standing, in the centre of the mat.
If one of the players is reluctant to fight, on agreement of two of the referees, the player will be awarded warning and 1 point for his opponent. If the inactive player does not engage actively in the fight, second warning will be awarded and 1 point for his opponent. Third warning leads to immediate disqualification.
