Oleg Sibilev
Oleg Sibilev originally comes from Russia where he competed at Sambo and later Combat Sambo. He not only studied the Sporting aspect of Sambo but also Self Defence side of the style. He has been well involved in Judo since 1981 and started off his training at the Batir Olympic Reserve Judo club in the USSR. He has competed in many major Judo events around the USSR managing to win medals in the majority of competitions that he was entered in. He took a break in 1994 from sports and returned to Judo in 2002, by 2007 he joined T&M gym as Head wrestling coach training cage fighters. In 2011 he progressed to a Sports and Combat Sambo coach at Nemisis Gym, followed by joining the British CombatSombo Association which is affiliated to the the British Sombo Federation the UKSport Governing Body in 2012. His career changed again in 2013, when he changed to Karma gym as a Head Sambo Coach and where he continues to train till the present day. He started competing again in 2014 and by 2015 he became a British Masters Champion in Sport Sambo , showing great dedication and passion which he continues till today.
Oleg now holds a British Passport and is allowed to compete for Great Britain which he did competing in the World Masters in Israel. He is a valued member of the British CombatSombo Association and his Mixed Style Sambo is attracting many members for lots of different countries
