BSF Working with ADCC
For some months now BSF National Sport
Sambo Coach John Clarke as been in negotiations with Matt Gough about the
possibility of organising a combined British Open Sambo Championships with a
major MMA event entitled the Midlands Open which will be under the auspices of
the ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) you can see details of this organisation on
the Web. John tells us that the venue in Birmingham will be big enough to house
2 International size Sambo Mats plus 4 MMA mat areas. The ADCC
are well versed in running major events there will be many stalls selling
equipment, the event will be streamed on there own web site, professional
photographers will be there. In the next few weeks there will be dedicated
Facebook and Twitter accounts plus a dedicated Web site.
This event will be the biggest Sambo event to hit the UK and hopefully we will get many countries competing because of the cooperation with ADCC Sambo will be seen by a much larger audience, one that has not seen Sambo
